Indeed, the legislative environment is constantly evolving, and regulatory oversight of the industry is intensifying. This has required us to adopt new approaches in managing our gaming halls. We are committed to complying with the regulations set by the authorities while also providing our customers with top-quality services. Since recent regulations aim, among other things, to limit the visibility of gaming halls, we have decided to adapt creatively while staying within the bounds of the law.

You implemented an unusual concept in Arad, transforming the exterior of a gaming hall into a bookstore. What inspired this idea?

In many industries, companies must adapt their strategies to market demands and legal requirements. We drew inspiration from other sectors where the core activity is “packaged” within a creative concept. For example, there are “speakeasy” bars that appear as bookstores or bakeries on the outside but offer a completely different experience inside. We applied this approach to our industry to comply with new regulations without compromising the customer experience.

What awaits players who step into this room?A hidden door, another world – behind the antiquarian bookstore, visitors are welcomed with a completely different concept. Those who step inside find themselves in the tales of the 1001 Nights. The “secret” experience is the essential element of this place, as the contrast between the storefront and the interior always brings surprises.

As for the necessary operating permits, all inspections conducted so far have confirmed full compliance with legal requirements.

How important is this strategy for your company’s image?

It is essential. We want to convey the idea that the gambling industry can be managed responsibly, without aggressive advertising or visual elements that disturb the local community. That’s why we have completely eliminated illuminated signs, colorful banners, and any elements that might attract the attention of those not interested in this field.

Has this model been applied in other cities, or is it a unique experiment?

For now, it is a concept tested exclusively in Arad. We have not applied this strategy elsewhere, and at the moment, we are analyzing its impact before deciding on a potential expansion. We are evaluating from both customers and authorities, as well as the local community. Depending on the results, we may replicate this model in other regions, but for now, our focus remains on analyzing the data from Arad.

What are the main challenges you faced in implementing this concept?

One of the biggest challenges was deg a façade that complies with regulations without negatively impacting the player experience. Additionally, we had to explain this concept to both authorities and our customers. Some people initially viewed this approach with suspicion, but our transparency and compliance with regulations have helped build trust in the project.
